I volunteer because I love to read out loud, I love to share my enjoyment of great books, and I find it immensely satisfying to know that people all over the world can listen to my recordings for free and with no restrictions whatever. It doesn't matter to me that you're not a professional reader, I still think you're good. I linked to yoursite, and libriVox in my LJ, so hopefully a lot of the other blind people I know, (I"m blind myself), will check out both sites. What made you want to volunteer to read? I think that's great.
