Hi Lisa,
I'm glad you and your girls enjoy my reading. You've reminded me that I've fallen behind on my own Poetry podcast! Time to post some more episodes :)

Dear Kara,
I just wanted to send along thanks for all the work you have done for stories for Librivox! I only discovered it a few months ago, and we are hooked. I, too, homeschool our girls (7 and 9) and it was challenging to find good books to read to them, as so much of the contemporary work is junk. We have stuck with the classics, for the most part, but after getting vocal chord nodules a few years ago (probably from reading to the girls!), my voice just doesn't keep up with reading these long volumes aloud. Now, we download the stories and listen to them whenever we are in the car, on the way to the grocery, choir, wherever we may be headed (without Daddy, since he can't ever hear the whole story).

Your name has come up so often that we recognize the friendly voice. Many, many thanks for offering your time and the gift of audio books for the rest of us.

Sincerely,
Lisa Van Aken
