They make a model called "endeavor" which has no holes at all, and one called "professional" which just has side vents. Also a very cute Mary Jane style, which might stand out less. I'd really like a pair of those Mary Janes :) I love my 5″ sock needles too!

New shoes always do that to us anyway. So, if you get a pair and you have funny turned-in ankles like we do, give your feet a few days to get used to them.
