Why, thank you Andrew! It’s nice to know I did ok on that accent :) I hope you will come over to librivox and volunteer. It’s tremendously fun. If you’re shy about reading at first, we always need proof-listeners, too. See you there!

It’s the very first audio book I have listened to and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m from northern England and I thought your rendition of theYorkshire accent was genuinely delightful. Because of your recording I am considering volunteering myself.Thank you again.

I never listened to audiobook before, since I prefer reading the books by myself, but I stumbled
upon Librivox few weeks ago,so I gave it a try and was thrilled when I saw The Secret Garden. I fell in love with both the story and the way you read, then came the Little Princess and I got used to your voice so much that I am listening to all the books you’ve recorded. :) So thanks to you and librivox I can even “read” on my 40 minutes drive to work every day.

I am so delighted that this is a book precious enough for recording. I loved it as a child and love it still. Perhaps you shared these poems with your grandmother, too.

Many thanks!
