		<description>Yeah, I figured securing the floats didn't matter because of the lining.  The thing was, the edges of the large color sections looked soooo crappy. The yarn store lady suggested actually twisting the yarns together (a la intarsia) at the color changes.  I did rip back and am doing it that way, and it does look a lot better, and I know blocking it will make it look even better.</description>

I just told Omly awhile ago that while many fair isle knitters will insist that the longer floats need to be twisted or caught, I don't think it is completely necessary. It may help with the tension, but maybe not enough to be worth ripping back. And the lining will make it so that the long floats won't be a catch-hazard.

I had thought about putting something in the pattern about securing the long floats, but thought it might be a bit of overkill to have a fair isle lesson in the middle of a pattern :) Maybe I can make a small note about it though.</description>
