The bird is a budgie! We have two of them now and they are SO LOUD! I had to move my recording area away from them but you can still hear them sometimes even now :)

Enjoy!

I know this isn’t the right place, but I cannot find an email place, so I’ve put it here.
We are homeschoolers on the South Island of NZ (think Lord of The Rings), and have been studying British History this year. Our ‘core book’ is Our Island Story, and we listen to you, and enjoy your reading greatly.
My son likes the bird and wants to know what sort of bird you have. He was sad when you went to Canada, and the bird wasn’t present on the recording!
I was delighted to see you homeschool as well.

Thank you for giving us so much pleasure this year.

Katie Oliver.
