		<description>The trader joe pie thingy was good but a little mushy.  I&#039;d replace half the sour cream with a half-block of cream cheese -- that should probably firm it up a bit. Also the crust was too greasy.  A store-bought graham cracker crust would have been better.

Both apple pies were devoured :)</description>

Your dinner sounds so yummy!  I looked at the recipe for the Trader Joe pie, maybe I&#039;ll try that next year.  This year I cheated and bought a Marie Callendar frozen pumpkin pie.  Well - the reason is that in previous years I&#039;ve noticed that by the time dinner has been eaten, there is not much enthusiasm left for pie, even if I took time to make something special.  So this year I went this route.  It was pretty good.  But John was a little disappointed in me I think.</description>
