Hey that’s great! :) So glad you included links to the texts, too. The illustrations are half the fun!

Thank you so much!

Hi Kara,

I have just finished listening to Heidi and am about to start “Kayray’s Storytime” 20 January 2012.

Heidi had a lot of good moral messages, which made it all the more fun. Not sure how that canary and cat I hear sometimes in the background made it to all those places and the Swiss alps, but hey , all is good! :D

I love to listen to these stories because …

… they are edifying, uplifting, wholesome and make me happy.

I do read, well on the net, and before the net I did a lot of reading. I much prefer being read to though. I am very artistic and creative, much like you are Kara, and so these stories you read really come to life.

These joys are something that are always with us, for they come from within us. I love the stories and God willing one day, I will get to continue to enjoy them in Heaven.

Intrinsic joys like these are eternal treasures of the heart. :D

So hello Kara, thank you, hello again and waving happily!

:D

Aww, that’s so sweet! Thanks for telling me! :)

I’m not sure if I’ll be reading these stories, but I listened to your recording of The Secret Garden and it was lovely! I am now reading The Odyssey and was pleasantly surprised to hear your voice and recognized it right away and so I decided to check out your website in order to thank you!

Now I can’t help but imagine Mary Lennox telling me the story of Odysseus. :)

Listening to your reading of “Whose Body” was my first experience with Livirvox and now I am hooked! I am currently reading “The Complete Lord Peter Wimsey Stories by Dorothy L Sayers, which are all short stories but just great. Hopefully you will find something you would like to record – please let me know as I will definitely be one of the first to listen to it!

Hi Shelly,

I’ve LOVE to record another mystery. The trick is finding a really good one which was published before 1923! I wish I could do more Sayers, but Whose Body was a lucky exception, since its copyright expired and somehow wasn’t renewed. That’s a very rare case.

Got any suggestions? :)
