In this podcast, I'll read to you from some of my very favorite kids' books. I'd rather read than edit, so I don't edit my recordings; you get to hear the mistakes and everything (there aren't usually very many). Just pretend I'm right there reading you a bedtime story! :) The first book in this podcast is "The Saturdays" by Elizabeth Enright. It's about a New York family in the 1940s. I love this book with all my heart and hope you do too! Next is "Absolute Zero" by Helen Cresswell, a hilarious story about an eccentric English family in 1970s England. This book is the 2nd book in the Bagthorpe Saga. I hope you'll read them all. (These recordings were made in 2002 or so, and the sound quality is much lower than my usual standard. Forgive me!) And now we're starting "Half Magic" by Edward Eager.
