I was casually scrolling through your site when your audio of HALF MAGIC caught my eye. I first found that amazing book when I was 11 years old. We were spending the sumer in San Diego complete with long, hot walks home from the library, just like the kids in the book. I’d read one of mine aloud as I walked home with my younger sisters, again, just like the kids in the book. We all absolutely loved this story and I read it straight through to them, ahem…just like the kids in the book. Lol. Alas, we never found our own magic coin, but I was hooked on Edward Eager with a vengeance after that.

And as for your recording, it’s so professionally done and your voice is extremely appealing. I’ve purchased high priced audio books that were rendered unlistenable (is that a word?) by the reader’s voice. Your reading voice is the satisfying equivalent of coming home, settling in before a cozy fire with hot cocoa and a great new book to read.
