Hello! Henry is 6
years old and he loves books. I'm his mom, Kara, and I love books, too. We started making this
page when Henry was 4 1/2 so we could keep a record of our favorite children's books--we hope
you'll read some of them and enjoy them as much as we do. Please
email us and let us know what you
think, and tell us YOUR favorite read-aloud books.
We are picky about books, so to be included on our "favorites" page a book
must be well-written, interesting for parents AND children, and have
appealing artwork. If you'll print out our list and take it with you to
the library, you're certain to find something that you like. This page
is rather out of date -- I slacked off on adding new titles for about a year --
but I'm going to try to keep up better from now on, so keep checking back.
Also, the book titles used to be automatically alphabetized, but I think I will disable that, so from now
on the newest titles will be at the top of the list.
