Hermia is blocking!
I finished knitting Hermia yesterday, and she’s blocking now:
(the green is not so dull as it looks in the photo, it’s more springy)
In other news, it was 96 degrees Fahrenheit here today. Good lord. Henry and I sat around and melted all day. I fixed milkshakes for lunch — chocolate ice cream, rice milk, a couple spoonfuls of peanut butter. Yum.

Amazing job on that sweater, Kara!
Ugh, I can’t imagine how hot and miserable that is…here, of course, we do get temps like that in the summer, but we’re ready for it with air conditioning and ceiling fans and such. I hope the heat pattern breaks up soon!

Lovely! I don’t think I could pull off a sweater like that, what with the flare around the hips (mine flare quite enough on their own!) but I’m sure it’ll long nice and swingy on your figure!
