Helen’s Babies, Part 12
Helen’s Babies by John Habberton, Part 12
Read by me!
And that’s the last chapter of Helen’s Babies. I hope enjoyed listening to it as much as I enjoyed recording it! Next Monday I’ll begin posting chapters from The Book of Art for Young People, a wonderful book about art history.

Omg, were it you in the part of little cecily!! ahahah, that’s awesome I got to your blog almost by a random coincidence, clicked on the mp3 of that “Helen’s Babies” and thought “mmh, haven’t I already heard this voice?”. T.I.O.B.Earnest was my preferred audiobook ever, I still listen to it from time to time(of course I guess some merit goes to oscar wilde too :) ).
Keep reading audiobooks!
aloa!

Tthank you for spending some of your time recording the
classics! I have really enjoyed listening to “A little princess” and
now “Heidi.” Your voice is very pleasant to listen to and I sometimes
think I hear you almost giggling with delight at some of the phrases.
We’re starting our homeschooling journey and I’m previewing resources
for use in our day–your recordings are a highlight!
Do you have any more literature for young people in your sights?
Thank you!

Hi Andrea, I’m so glad you’re enjoying my recordings. Yes, sometimes it’s hard not to laugh aloud at the funny parts! And I got choked up and weepy sometimes, but I do try not to let it show too much. (The chapter called “Anne” in A Little Princess was a difficult one). If you hit the “My Recordings” link on the right side of this page, you can see all my solo projects and there’s a link at the bottom of that page that will let you track down individual chapters and see what else I’m working on :)
