movies
Yesterday I felt tired all day, and today I feel tired and headachy. Yuck. I remembered http://www.framerater.co.uk/home and have been having a nice time checking movies off the lists, and adding ones I haven’t seen to my Netflix queue. And I watched a few movies yesterday, too. Finished “Crimes and Misdemeanors”, which didn’t do anything for me. Also watched “The Lady Vanishes”. Not that great. But “Witness for the Prosecution” was fun! Charles Laughton FTW.

I just thought I’d share with you – I decided that my kids and I would listen to The Secret Garden from LibriVox. When I saw that you read it, I mentioned it to my 8 year old son, and he said “Kara Shallenberg! Yeah, yeah! It must be a good book!”

I just had to tell you that my kids love the Just So Stories that you read for Librivox. Your reading voice is so easy to listen to. My kids are five and three and they love how you read. Do you have any recommendations for audio books for those ages? Thanks!

Aww, thanks, Carrie!
If you click the “librivox recordings” link at the top of this page, you’ll find all my solo librivox recordings. Your little ones would probably enjoy the three little books by L. Leslie Brooke, and maybe the poetry collection? Or the Oz book? Really, you could choose any of my children’s books and let them listen while they play, and even if it’s a bit over their heads they’ll probably enjoy it anyway. :)
