a tiny bit better
Today I feel like I might be starting to get better. I actually got out of bed and sat on the couch with Henry for a few hours. We got caught up on Doctor Who. The Anniversary episode was lots of fun! I am super-excited about Peter Capaldi taking over as The Doctor. I loved Eccleston and liked Tennant, but never could warm up to Smith. I guess I prefer an older, craggier Doctor.
Cough cough cough. All the coughing rattles my brain around and gives me a headache. May I please have a new respiratory system? My factory-installed one is a lemon.

Hey, sorry to hear you are feeling under the weather — :( Thanksgiving is almost here — hopefully by then you’ll be up to par — or at least, close!! -:)
I’ve been checking regularly — and downloading each chapter — one by one — of Spiderweb for Two! This — the last book in the Melendy Maze series!! I absolutely love everything Elizabeth Enright has written and — you — :) — introduced me to her — with your podcasts — :) I’ve listened to your readings of the Melendy books — over and over again!! :) And, memorized many of the lines … Randy: “The Carthage traffic cop keeps an alligator in his bathtub!” ….. :) ….. [Randy and Oliver were my favorite Melendy characters.]

just wanted to thank you for your podcast. we love listening to you read to us in the car! we especially like that when something happens, like a cough or an airplane flying overhead, you leave it in. it makes it feel like you’re right there with us.
